If you have an MTN SIM card with a compatible 4G enabled phone, you can access the LTE network. You don't have to subscribe to a special bundle either - the regular data bundles still apply.
To check whether your current SIM and phone is compatible for 4G LTE access, text "4G' to 131 and you should get a text telling if either or both your SIM and phone are compatible.
However, if your phone is compatible and your SIM isn't, you will have to switch your SIM to one that is 4G ready. Note though that 4G enabled SIMs do not store phone numbers, in case you still save numbers that way..
