FG Is Working Out A Frame Work To End HND/B.Sc Disparity - YABATECH Rector

The Rector of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Dr Margaret Ladipo has revealed that the Federal Government is working to introduce a National Vocational Qualification Framework (NVQF) in order to end the HND.B.Sc Disparity

She made this known during the pre-convocation briefing ahead of the institution's 30th convocation ceremony.

According to her, the framework was still being formulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and would be adopted as soon as the paper work was completed.

With the framework in place, polytechnic graduates would write an examination which would place them at par with their counterparts in the university and the disparity will eventually be removed and there will be no problem again.
