Abolarin Jephthah who withdrew from the University of Ilorin has finally returned back to Senor Secondary School to retake the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, the result which he confessed to have obtained through examination malpractices.
Mr. Abolarin Jephthah, was a 300 level Sociology student of the University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, Kwara State, who purportedly notified the university’s authorities of his decision to withdraw from the institution, confessing that he obtained the results of his West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, through examination malpractices.
In a confessional letter of withdrawal addressed on August 12 to the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), UNILORIN, Professor N. Y. S. Ijaiya, Jephthah was said to have stated that having encountered Jesus Christ and ‘born-again,’ his decision to withdraw from the university was based on his newfound realization that his foundation was faulty and as such, he can’t continue to be a student of UNILORIN.
The brain behind his return to school is the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre an Interdenominational Christian Centre at the Heart of Abuja, Pastor Mrs. Paul Enenche.
At the just concluded Young Adult and Youth Affairs Convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG tagged ‘Vessel Unto Honour;Mrs. Enenche said that when she heard the news of the Salvation of the Undergraduate, she was touched and had to look for him and assist him.
‘When a friend of mine sent me a mail about a boy who withdrew from school after confessing that the results that got him into school were fake. I was touched and surprised. We contacted him immediately and luckily we got him and made him return back to school. Now he has returned back to school and he is in SS3 to rewrite the SSCE Examinations’ Mrs. Enenche reveals.
Mrs. Enenche further encouraged youths to be truthful to themselves and shun every form of immoralities in any form urging them to be an ambassador of Christ.
The statement got the youths screaming and clapping simultaneously.

The letter circulating on social media and sighted by Vanguard reads: “With all sense of humility, I ABOLARIN AKIN JEPHTHAH with Matric number (13/77jd010), a 300 level student in the department of sociology, wish to openly declare the reason why I withdraw from the university. Sir, just as a house that was built on a faulty foundation will definitely collapse.
“All through my secondary school days, I am just a church goer without genuine salvation and the fear of God, as a result of this, I got my WAEC result through examination malpractice.
“By the grace of God, now, I have encountered the limelight of the gospel of Jesus Christ which called for repentance and restitution.
“Sir, with deep conviction, I have realised that there is no point of building my academic career on a faulty foundation, since the WAEC result I got through malpractice is the basis in which my admission into this university was anchored.
“Therefore, I have decided to withdraw from the university and start all over again
